Kurzbeschreibung:

They say love lasts forever. But they re wrong. Love can never be measured by time. When Max, a twenty-something kid stuck in a jail-to-rehab cycle, tricks his father s friend, Chris, into getting him out of jail and reuniting him with his mother in Canada, he forces Chris into a lover s reunion that Chris has been running from his whole life.
And though the journey north may recall for Chris a few idyllic moments from the 60s, today s journey is a dangerous one as he and Max are chased by drug dealers, pursued by Max s impetuous Muslim girlfriend, Kali, and ambushed by her vicious brothers.
The most treacherous part of the journey, though, begins when the destination is reached and Max s hidden motive for staging his escape to Canada sets in motion a complex triad of duplicity, betrayal, and finally, hope, illuminating the secrets of the heart too long veiled in fear and regret.
